Do you think it should have ended here.
>>151005036probably. i've come to realize that any show that criticizes men just begs the question of why society doesn't talk about toxic femininity
>>151005036Nah, it's more like this is the point where Bojack should've started getting his shit together instead of repeating the same formula for 4 more seasons.
>>151005036Yes. The other seasons just fall into a habit of stagnation and by S5 its clear that the creator didn't want the audience to sympathize with Bojack at all so he has to bring back an old and forgotten plot line for no reason other than to bring him down so more. With S2 you at least have a more open ended interpretation where after his lowest moment there's nowhere but up and even S4 ended with him getting closure from his mother and having a new connection with Hollyhawk but the ending to S6 only reinforces that he was a lost cause from the beginning and that everyone's lives were better distancing themselves from him.
>>151005277>>151005100yeah it's clear that the writers didn't allow bojack to better himself. he constantly backtracked (by things he could control) or was sabotaged by circumstances out of his control
>>151005277>>151005333I think it makes sense for him to sort of stumble back into his problems a bit in season 3, it's often hard at first to completely give up those kinds of past habits, but season 4 should have been about him finally getting on the steady path.
>>151005036it meant we wouldn't have gotten free churro but yeah when i think back on bojack this is the scene i remember most. it's the hardest and most important lesson
>>151005036It should have been the last scene of the show but I like that we got 5 seasons
