people only talk about the first issue and the war issue. Flinstones is incredibly overrated cause it had an opening issue that was a novel, deep take on a shallow source material. The rest of the series is completely forgettable and often straight up bad. The war chapter was so lazily done and it felt like it was trying to be a surprise, dark, twist ending but it was predictable and not well paced. All of the commentary was too on the nose. The lizard men and gay rights issues was literally just a lecture about bigotry that was a whole year after gay marriage was legalized in the U.S. nationally. People look back way too fondly on totally mid mini series.
