Random hot take but I think Octavia was kinda overreacting with the whole “you lied to me” and “you left me!” Because Stolas wasn’t even happy in his marriage with Stella and he has the right to be happy. Stella feels like one of the most character assassinated characters in this show, to be honest. I realize she wasn't that fleshed out before but when the show's writers wait until the next season (during which time the fans are taking different sides in what SEEMED like a nuanced conflict) to show her literally strangling a puppy and announcing that she likes tormenting the show's darling for fun I just can't take it seriously.
