Should I wait 2030s when AI can finally make specific continous consistent content with a thought or should I call it quits?
Will people even be capable of watching your show in the 2030s or you'll just be producing mediocre slop for yourself like everyone else? will I be hiring somebody to do it for me so I don't spoil myself?

So back in the 90s and 2000s I wanted my own video game and cartoon show because 1) Cartoons & video games were good and I wanted to be good like them or even better and to bring something new to the equation
2) In the 2010s cartoons and video games got so bad that I thought I could make a difference by making good cartoons & video games people could watch, but after 2015 it seems like the attention is split and people don't watch cartoons in general nor play anything besides Fortnite.
3) It's 2025 and it seems like people just really don't care about quality anymore or really care about anything

If AI actually reaches that level of sophistication the internet will be drowned out in such a tidal wave of content that there's almost no chance of anyone making it big with anything. It'd genuinely spell the total death of monoculture unless people created very specific AI-free spaces where content was heavily vetted by real humans.

>unless people created very specific AI-free spaces where content was heavily vetted by real humans.
How is this supposed to work if nobody can tell if something was generated by AI or not? If someone asks for proof you can simply tell the AI to generate proof

Then it's just totally fucked and nobody can ever become popular with anything they produce ever again. You'd be competing against the entire human race and AI bots trained to produce their own AI shows. Literally trillions of episodes of things being created and uploaded every single day, no way to vet them, no way to keep the flood back. It'd be a complete and utter collapse of content as we know it. This is sort of my ultimate fear about what this AI stuff might end up doing if it really does just keep progressing and not slow down.

At first I thought it was a weird AI cat then I realized it's an Ariral.

I mean that's 100% going to happen and the progression is gonna get even faster with time especially with AGI coming around, Humanity is fucked

I cant wait till the AI bubble bursts

it's not bursting so much as it is deflating

You are going to have to wait for a while, look how much it took for the damn monkeys to crash and they were less than worthless.

AI actually has some uses in stuff like targeting systems and cutting redundancy in some shit, we may be here for at least a decade before rich people realize how duped they got after all they achieve is making missiles that are deadly more deadly and cut some corners in hiring wagies.

What makes you think it's ever going to burst? It keeps getting more and more advanced, I genuinely don't think AI is ever going to stop becoming more and more mainstream because there's nothing to suggest companies are suddenly going to want human workers again

Companies supporting AI are losing millions of dollars by the hour

>>151010189
Ah, yes. That's why they keep investing more and more into AI, those stupid boomers will definitely regret it soon!

"Consumers" also didn't want cars and computers at first, the average person will not give a shit after it's no longer new technology

>I can't wait until the Tower collapses

You don't really want to be there in the aftermath. You want to be in the generations long after the aftermath. You're gonna have to endure a lot of morally dubious bullshit, deepfakes, industry crashes, and lying tech bros before we get to a point where we go, "Oh wow, that was bad!". And even then, it'll never be dropped entirely and AI will always be that "on the horizon" technology that promises great things and actually makes things lonelier and worse.
