Why did WB allowed some brown nobody to complety destroy one of their most beloved legacy IPs?

It's just another "oh yeah that happened' show that will only be brought up to remind people how bad it was.

It did some damage (mainly to Warner Brother's and Mindy Kaling, though who honestly still likes that annoying jeet whore at this point) but it didn't destroy Scooby Doo. I remember when people said the scooby cartoon that made Velma a lesbo killed Scooby Doo, then before that the reboot with the adult comedy art style. I think the IP will be alright...

I don't even remember that one. But why even force a sexual identity on a character who was always portrayed asexual to begin with...just like the rest of the Scooby-gang, at least in the original series.
