Aside from the times he gets random power boosts to shake things up or that one Thunderbolts run, Frank doesn't get wanked as much as big name heroes. He does get wanked a lot in noncanon stuff though. But it's hard to find any character jerked off more than Batman. Maybe Joker.

Only case of real punisherwank is a strictly noncanon "Punisher kills the Marvel Universe" book and a handful of individual scenes where Ennis makes Wolverine or somebody job to him cause he thinks superheroes are stupid. Meanwhile Batman has been wanked to such absurd degree that you might as well put him in front of Thanos and people would seriously argue that Batman should win somehow. And Batman's wank is in CANON sources.

I know and i don't necessarily hate him for it. I just hate the idea that writers feel like that should've been the progression of batman and its so lame. Batman should've known superman wouldnt willingly side with government and that the government using threatening lois as a means to control superman. It would've narratively shown just how corrupt the whole thing was and that batman finding the way to get the leesh off his friend. But i guess it would've been taboo at the time to really go all in ripping on the american government and peeling the layers back showing the patriotism of then was fake and gay.
