If there was a cartoon with fantastical elements and good writing capable of handling mature themes with nuance that did not begin as, nor devolve into gayslop, it would probably save Western Animation.

I do not think it is fair to blame Arcane not sticking the landing all on CaitVi, but that, the gay ginger, the dyke coded muscle woman with one arm, and whatever the hell was going on with Jayce and Viktor seemed ot be endpoints which they had envisioned in their heads when they sat down to write the season, and they just twisted the plot to make it work.
