So I've been doing some experiments across different sites and I'm ready to publish my findings. As a control I used the same prompt and image and I found1. Wan 2.5 is the best for dynamic action stuff. It translates camera movements the best. Unfortunately sometimes you get extra limbs if the action you're describing is too dynamic, but this can actually work o your benefit if it reads as smear frames. It also sound but the lip synching isn't the best. Generation speed is really good for its quality.2. Kling 2.5 has the squash and stretch which is good for styles that lean more towards 2d, and the best boob physics if you can get it. But you'll get filtered a lot more often than not, and it's expensive. Kling 2.1 is a marked step down in quality and adds a lot more motion blur and a lower frame rate which makes stuff look "floaty". Generation speed is a crapshoot. I've gotten anywhere between ten minutes and 20+ hours3. Pixverse is the most liberal with free gens and is really fast, but the animation quality is very stiff and tweened and tends to be slow. Also the watermark is a lot harder to edit out if that matters. However while i doesn't have native sound, ironically I think it does some of the better lip synching compared to the top two.4. Grok needs more testing but so far I'm finding it kind of mid. It's giving me very understated animation no matter how much I tell it to go more dynamic. It's fast but I can only do one video a day so if that turns out shit then that's it.5. Hailuo is garbage. Long wait times, characters will lose limbs or entire dimensions, and I think either their credit system broke or they shadowban you by just not reloading. They'd be the worst one except.6. Sora 2 filters are so overcharged that I haven't managed to get anything.
