Bush is only faintly a parody of his public persona at the time of a well meaning and boisterous if kinda goofy politician, but he's more a general silly sitcom dad.Once the controversies actually ramped up after 9-11, they generally dropped mentioning Bush at all during South Park. It was cancelled a month before September 11, but there was basically no way they'd continue it after anyway.
