Why do people hate Greg so much? I see him get like violent hate on this board and people accusing him of ruining the show but I watch it every year and I have always liked him. He is innocent and funny, and Wirt is way more annoying than he is because all he does is bitch.
>>151080408It depends on the age you were when you watched. I was already 21 the first time I saw the show and Greg reminded me of all the randumb bullshit I'd come to hate in modern cartoons. I imagine Gen Z and younger viewers relate to him more. I still think he sucks though.

If you hate Greg I don't even know what you actually get from OtGW - half the fun is the dynamic of the brothers and Greg drives the vast majority of actual events. His innocence and Wirt's jaded nature are the two main elements that shape their interactions with the world and half the show is about him.Also, LOLRANDUM humor was absolutely a thing when we were kids, it was arguably even more prevalent than for zoomers. 90's cartoons were jam packed with random humor and gross out
