Makes me glad it wasn't picked up. It was a fun April Fool's short but making it an actual show wouldn't have worked out, and the ideas the creator has shared show that he really didn't have a great plan for it in the first place.

I reminded this existed when a few days ago some fan channel on YouTube uploaded a animation based on the first episode storyboard. I watched the trailer when it came out and didn't think too much about, I knew it got a fandom but I didn't engage with it and didn't even know there was a counter fandom also.Watching the fan made pilot and the rewatching the trailer I thought it was a cool idea>Fake stock cartoon characters with their gimmicks on a survivor horror scenario >Using the pre-existing characters as the monsters you can bank both on zoomer horror of "innocent thing but actually twisted and corrupted" as well as Warner's crossover craze at the time>The surviving characters have to break their "programming" in order to beat the glitch wave and save Cartoonland or whateverI liked how in the pilot Pibby just couldn't see the obvious differences in the scenery and had to rely on the audience like Dora, so she just cheats and breaks the second picture to move on already. I don't even like this thing and I'm not really sad that it didn't get greenlit, but I do think it's fucking stupid how [as] never did anything to bank off of its popularity.
