Do you guys still go back and watch these movies during the Halloween season?
I watched these and they were too ADHD inclined for me.

I really like the family vacation theme of it. 3 is just lots of fun, seeing things like the underwater scene, 24 Carat Magic scene, and the casino scene. It's one long party through the entire movie. I also really like 2 as a "boys on a road trip" movie. And I did like seeing Johnny's parents and California.1 was kind of "meh" really. There not much there in 1 other than a bunch of monster puns. The romance between Johnny and Mavis is barely even developed.

>>151112659I find the animation aspect interesting cause I feel like it’s what inspired other studios to aim for more stylized looks with their 3D films, sure you got a couple films before HT like Chicken Little and Madagascar that aim for more cartoony looks with their animation but I feel like it was HT that really popularized it. Like think about it, Sony would later go on to make action films like Spiderverse and K-Pop Demon Hunters which are more stylized in a non-wacky way. Blue Sky would make The Peanuts Movie and add more expressive animation in the fifth Ice Age film. You can even see recent Disney films having more cartoony squash and stretch in their films, like you can just see how expressive Zootopia 2 is gonna be based on the trailer.
