... Is she dead?
>>151113353We can only hope.
I miss it
>>151113357It's so weird how angry this made people back when it was all the teaser art we had
Why was it cancelled? It was one of the better animated shows Netflix had.
>>151115045>Why was it cancelled?Either internal politics, it was inexplicably expensive as fuck to make, or people that watched it didn't then watch other shit/continue their subscriptions. We don't know the exact metrics Netflix uses to judge shows off of.It was actually popular. It was like one of their most watched adult animated show, beating out shit like Big Mouth that got *checks notes* 101 episodes across 10 seasons.
>>151115045It gets worse. Inside Job wasn't just cancelled; it had its confirmed second season REVOKED out of nowhere. And the timing of the announcement--which was informally revealed by one of the bitter series writers first--implies Shion and her team were given the news just a few days before it was brought to our attention. One can only imagine how much developmental work and excitement had been building for those ~6 months from June 2022 to January 2023...
Nobody draws her any more, so the best I can do while broke as a joke are slop generators.
>>151115045Netflix will cancel any show that doesn’t hit the top 10. And the top 10 is reserved for money laundering shows
>>151113353more pics?
>>151115102Lets not forget Big Mouth only was made an existed because the creators family were rich as fuck.
Honestly, this show was so boring and disappointing. dated references by the time it came out. shitty world building, annoying supporting cast. It's like a pretty bad futurama with zero of the charm and -100% of the heart. I was so excited for it also because I actually enjoy the concept quite a bit and it could have be done right. Now I'm just glad it's gone. The show peaked at mediocre but most of the time was bellow it. the only episode that comes to mind when I think about it is they trying to riff on people liking the 80's 5 years to late to be relevant and the entire argument was that racist people existed back them like a bunch of psychos an the episode were she fucks an random guy on Vatican because I tough in the end she was just a slut sad for herself and the only thing keeping herself from getting a decent life was her own victim mentality, and that I could get her to send me naked pictures if I really really tried if she was a real girl. I hate this show more for the fact it made me care for something so mid over being actually bad. That must be how females feel after being used for sex for a guy who is not even that hot.
>>151115995>Implying Futurama had any charm or heartSure, whatever helps ya sleep.
>>151115134>it had its confirmed second season REVOKED out of nowhereYeah this was wild, I don't remember if shit like this happened ever before
>>151116017Even if futurama was an incredible piece of garbage, what I'm trying to say this show feels like a worse version of it.so whatever you say about the show or try to imply to try to get a rise of me is completely useless, because this show still is a worse version of it in my eyes. Futurama not even that good really also, I like the first season of disenchanted better.
>>151116039>I like the first season of disenchanted better. So, you like complete garbage.
>>151115995It def felt like a lesser Futurama anytime the whole Cognito team interacted with each other. I watched a lot of that show around the same time after its Hulu revival had been announced, and with Inside Job being fresh on my mind, the comparisons were easy to make and it left me that much more appreciative of how clever and better-constructed comedy writing was in early 2000s adult cartoons, back when writers had to try harder due to stricter network standards instead of today's common practice of going for easy pop culture references and dropping 50 F-bombs per episode. Inside Job had tons of heart, don't get it twisted, but it's likely the Brett/Reagan and Rand/Reagan moments made many forget about all the rougher aspects that hopefully would've been ironed out had Season 2 still happened. Also Myc suuuuuuuuuucked
>>151116080I love garbage, I eat it up, slopping myself, i would fuck if I could, rawdogging all night, play biting and slapping, making sure it feels loved and wanted, pulling the hair and whispering the most nasty and romantic shit down to it's ears with my rasp deep voice, trusting alway in the dark, the only thing outside my whispers you can even hear is the slapping moaning and grutting. my favorite show ever is fucking total dramarama. But I don't lack the cognitive functions to know when something is good or bad. I simply enjoy it, because I'm also capable of enjoying things on their own by my own define taste and what I prefer on something while still being able to criticize objectively based around universal values you can define a quality control trough.Inside job? Mediocre riding the dick of the star cast that actually worked on something good. Remove the Gravity Fall nepotism from it and it would just be another show some anons shills but no one remembers in 3 years tops.
>>151116110Counter point: Inside Job was more fun to watch than R&M or the many R&M knock offs.
>>151116171Why? give me you reasoning why, because I can tell you something, Rick and Morty is trash now, but the first two seasons were complete fire and nothing felt anything like it ever. Inside Job is derivative by it's own nature. What qualities make this show stand out so highly for you, because I've been on and one why I dislike it, and I made it clear I don't even find bad, I just find it disappointing and lacks originality and is lazy like the other anon said because it tries too hard on references and it has decent jokes, but nothing of this show stands out for me. Why is so great for you, anon, use your words, I want to know, I want to listen. For me you are my piece of garbage i want to so erotically love all night and right now we are on the foreplay, and I'm making you undress for me and show all your vulnerabilities. so tell me, why do you like this shit so much? I'm here, on my chair, watching you.
>>151116212Rick and Morty was always fucking trash and I always question what glue people huffed to praise that shit. As for Inside Job, I kinda like the characters way more than R&M and the jokes got more of a chuckle out of me than R&M shit. Inside Job wasnt flawless, but it sure didnt make me taste the metal of a gun in my mouth like R&M did.
>>151116232Not about rick and morty, anon. I don't about this show right now. I want to know why you like inside job so much to the point of defending like that. Because for me you are just a slop lover like myself, who enjoys things just because they appeal to you personally, but that does not exactly make them good.I could watch inside job just because I want to masturbate to the main lead and feel more of connection to it, but I don't think I would say is good because of it.
>>151113353Even if she started working on a new show immediately after Inside Job was canceled, it still wouldn’t be out yet. Why does /co/ have such a shockingly shitty understanding of how animation actually works?
>>151115995> the only episode that comes to mind when I think about it is they trying to riff on people liking the 80's 5 years to late to be relevant and the entire argument was that racist people existed back them like a bunch of psychos an the episode were she fucks an random guy on Vatican because I tough in the end she was just a slut sad for herself and the only thing keeping herself from getting a decent life was her own victim mentality, and that I could get her to send me naked pictures if I really really tried if she was a real girl.Holy fucking shit, it’s dangerous to run on so long. Take these:. , ? ! ; :
>>151116250I just liked the characters and writing more. But, like I said it wasnt perfect and def needed more ironing out, but I dont think it was that awful.
I couldn't say I blame Shion if she decided to leave the industry entirely like Maxwell Atoms
>>151113353You think she shaves?
>>151113353Explain like I'm someone who never had Netflix (yes, we exist): what did I miss and what is all the fuss about?
>>151113353She's even hotter IRLI want to impregnate her dried eggs so much bros
>>151116089>Also Myc suuuuuuuuuuckedtrue though he was at least occasionally entertaining
>>151115976>>151116640my brethren~
>>151116036Sonic Boom had its third season announced by a writer and later taken back because Sega changed their mind and cancelled it instead.
>>151113353She's working in the King Of The Hill and Futurama revivals as writter iirc
>>151113353Insider here, she's working on the Seth Rogen driven Darkwing Duck reboot as co-showrunner with Michael Rianda.(hence why he's not part of The Mitchells 2)
>>151113353The Hirsch Wave has DIED.
>>151115378Yikes. Just kindly ask a drawfag.
>>151113353Well, dead or alive, fan art of a show lives on.
>>151115102Netflix's algorithm is more than just show watches. It's also rewatches too. Netflix's market is based on people who sub to have shit on in the background while they're on their phone or keep their kids entertainedSo if a show is popular but people only watch it once or don't use it as a jumping in point for other netflix content then they don't see the value in renewing it.
>>151118702>>151118683Hmmm, two different theories. I would have thought she would go to Futurama since she worked on Disenchantment with several people there but she doesn't have any writer/producer credits for the past few seasons or for next year's episodes (same with KOTH). My personal guess is that she's still under contract to Netflix
>no beach episode
>>151116036Happened to Zim.
>>151118702Im more on this theory since it would be funny of another of Alex Hirsch cliques returning to Disney since their projects are done.
>>151118702Rianda not being part in The Mitchells 2 at least as EP or Consultant surprises me. He likes these characters beacuse they are based on his family and to think they will be written by The Great North creators sounds very weird.
We failed Reagan
>>151113353Does Netflix own the rights to this? If not Shion should've switched to making a comic.
>>151115995Everything you say is true but it's worth it for Reagan.
