I grew up on the Dark Horse comics (the TPBs specifically), so I'll always have nostalgia for them. It's been a while since I've read IDW, but I really liked Gangsters & Goliaths when I first read it

Very dark and moody, capturing the dread that comes with knowing what's about to happen but unable to stop it.
