I wouldn't even have minded if they just made the big bad God because even though it would've been lazy it would've at least gelled with the rest of the story but Adam? The literal father of humanity who gave up immortality to be with his wife? Why would I want to watch him get cucked by Satan (the show seems to just skirt around the awful shit Lucifer did for some reason) and then get stabbed to death after going insane? Ive been rewatching S1 and after watching the series twice now not only do I absolutely believe Adam was in the right but Sera is an actual retard. Sera radiates the kind of disappointed energy a parent experiences when their son or daughter is in a relationship with a minority.
