I don't like how lois is such a rude cunt to Jimmy in this book. I get that he's obnoxious, but he's trying to do what's right and he's hanging in there through all the shit. There's no need to be so mean to him. Otherwise Absolute Superman is feeling like a slog again. It got interesting there for a few issues, but I guess I just don't like it that much.I thought this issue of AGL was excellent. Very well written, paneled, and paced. The heart it brings adds gravity to the cosmic horror element the book has been striving for since issue 1. Also I like Jo's big fat ass.

My only issue with modern Ewing is that he takes too long to get to the point, even when the plot is supposed to be ambiguous. I think he's doing a better job with Immortal/Mortal Thor but even then it takes like 5 issues before a major thing happens.
