She steals Captain Marvel’s powers in the cold open of the movie and puts the character on ice as she’s working for Mr. Sinister.>The movie paints that vague space organization that was in the marvels (S.A.B.E.R.?) in a super bad light, They’re holding several mutants (Avalanche, Blob, Pyro and Multiple Man) hostage for study, Rouge rescues them under Mr. Sinister’s orders. They explain she’s on “Loan” from someone else (Implying Magento) >Mr. Sinister is super abusive to Rouge who only works with him because he promises a cure, something that the other guy won’t give her. >She joins up with the X-Men after the midpoint battle where she’s left behind and Jean uses her powers to help her mind become clear. >The Professor doesn't have a lot to do except exposition. And I red they might swap nightcrawler for beast and remove angel, I'm the only reason the director want some in the film Mr have some sort of stakes and adopt a moment where Angel loses his wings.[/Spoiler]
