I get what people are saying about the pacing feeling slow, but this episode juggled a lot of plot threads. The sweet spot fundraiser, Fionna and Cake's love lives, PB and friends saving Finn, HW dying of thirst, Prismo exposition, Destiny croak dream. It's the weakest episode because it's the most disjointed, but it should mean that things are well set up now.

I'm only two episodes in to the new season and I'm wondering if I should just quit. I put up with the first season despite basically being multiverse slop, but this new season is a rough watch.I find myself actively disliking the characters. Like the idea of chilling with Fin and Jake sounds awesome. Now change that idea to hanging out with Fiona, Cake and her friends, and the idea honestly strikes me as unpleasant. To put it frankly, Fiona is a bit of a cunt. I get the strong sense that if I were in the same room as the male version of bubblegum princess and Marceline they would dislike me. I've met these people before and they were not good people.
