Cutting Coupe is better for the finale. Her battle against Robert and Mandy is kino. The finale with Sonar has nice visuals, but it feels less dramatic. Shroud's augment for Sonar also looks dumb with the exploitable button. I wish Punch Up and Malevola were involved in their confrontation.

Fully expect S2 to be announced at the Game Awards by Aaron Paul and Mathew Mercer dressed as their respective characters, though it likely won't come out til 2028. Probably also release a teaser for their Critical Role game, though I've already seen fans angry they're not just doing Dispatch S2 immediately. It's also weird because they're doing both an animated series and a game, and both have different production schedules, so who knows how they'll handle it.

Man, once Royd started going 'sorry, only the original Astral Pulse can fix this robot' and we knew Shroud was also after it, I thought the ending was heading towards one where Robert destroys it in front of Shroud, sacrificing his dreams of piloting the suit ever again and showing us the players that it was Robert the SDN Dispatcher and not MechaMan who defeated Shroud (i.e. it's not powers that make you a hero). Considering how Robert mentioned how he always thought he'd die in the suit, it would have symbolised his moving on from both his depressive attitude and daddy issues. Also he'd have a convenient epiphany about how he's still doing a lot of good from his dispatch role and all that.Anyway just my 2 cents. Looking forward to season 2 if it ever comes. Maybe it can star Brunette Blazer as the main character seeing as she's the one who has lost her powers this time and Robert can be out in the field. Or better yet they can re-add the cut sex scenes from season 1.

>>151314006Not much to say, really. It's a turn-based superhero game, kind of billed as the XCOM of the superhero genre. But it's not, by far. Subpar story, awful voice acting. The really obnoxious part is there are all these finicky little "optional" mission objectives to earn points to upgrade your heroes. Optional was in quotes because you'll want to upgrade your heroes. This means you have to play a very specific way to unlock everything and really cuts down on any potential fun.About the only thing worthwhile is how the heroes can combine powers can be kind of cool. Other than that it's all very basic and not worth writing home about. It's got a mixed rating on Steam for a reason.
