If you're moving faster then the bullet, you can just grab it and slow it down in the palm of your hand the same way he doesn't destroy his clothes and shoes when he's running. Meanwhile, both in the previous comic and Ep7's opening, we see that things around him aren't immune to the results of his acceleration so even if he shoved MM2 out of the way of the bullet, he was gonna hurt him pretty bad.

Cutting Coupe is better for the finale. Her battle against Robert and Mandy is kino. The finale with Sonar has nice visuals, but it feels less dramatic. Shroud's augment for Sonar also looks dumb with the exploitable button. I wish Punch Up and Malevola were involved in their confrontation.

So, after replaying the whole thing with both Phenomaman and WB, I can confidently say that is better to choose WB.
Gameplay wise is better to have him join early or he will be underpowered for the final part, and it feels like he has a bit more chemistry with the team and has a better character arc.

So how did your ending play out?

I cut Sonar and dealt with his bitch ass.
Gave Shroud both power sources and watched him throw a hissy fit.
Visi took a bullet for me after Shroud crashed out and vomited on himself.
I strangled Shroud to death the moment it became available.

It's weird how comfortable I was with that final choice. I even forgave the POS I cut earlier because I could argue they were lashing out. The fact that they signed up for the Z team in the first place shows they're at least willing to make an attempt. I can worth with that. Shroud just got worse and worse the longer he was onscreen. And when you read the comic that featured him, it's easy to sympathize while still acknowledging he's a dangerous fucking psycho.

Fully expect S2 to be announced at the Game Awards by Aaron Paul and Mathew Mercer dressed as their respective characters, though it likely won't come out til 2028. Probably also release a teaser for their Critical Role game, though I've already seen fans angry they're not just doing Dispatch S2 immediately.
It's also weird because they're doing both an animated series and a game, and both have different production schedules, so who knows how they'll handle it.

He was also going to kill him if Chase didn't step in so its not too surprising Elliot went off the rails. In a way Robert Jr was right, but at the same time he heavily pushed him toward that route. Going in I thought I was going to kill him (especially when he threatened Beef) but just how hard he got btfo by the gamble choice made me ease back once Beef and Invisigal turned out to be safe.

Yeah...it was definitely twisted how Robert Jr and Elliot operated during the Brave Brigade days. The massive disparity in his telling of the events how Jr died and the reality speaks volumes to the circumstances of Robert's torture. Truth be told, I was willing to spare him up until he took a shot at me after losing. He's the kind of villain that keeps coming back, and I CAN'T spend the rest of my life wondering if today is the day you start feeling yourself.

My Robert got the Everyman rating and that definitely fits to how I played him. I genuinely didn't know what my guy was going to do until the situation happened. Some of my own choices caught me off guard, so I guess that's a sign of good writing.

The flaw of the game is you have 2 love interest but the story is only about 1. The game is probably the most linear of this style I've ever seen, even walking dead has more long standing choices than this game.

Mostly from the fact that invisgal is basically the main secondary character. Which stifles the other characters potential growth on us and blazer why she has such devoted sycophants as she is a "choice" but not really our choice. She literally does most of the story beats and is so bad because of it. Like the double-triple cross but we still need to protect her less she goes down the route of the villian etc. She felt more like a burden than a gf/partner she literally causes so many problems and we are expected to just forgive her.

I don't know why people expect a Season 2 to continue Robert's story. Man, once Royd started going 'sorry, only the original Astral Pulse can fix this robot' and we knew Shroud was also after it, I thought the ending was heading towards one where Robert destroys it in front of Shroud, sacrificing his dreams of piloting the suit ever again and showing us the players that it was Robert the SDN Dispatcher and not MechaMan who defeated Shroud (i.e. it's not powers that make you a hero). Considering how Robert mentioned how he always thought he'd die in the suit, it would have symbolised his moving on from both his depressive attitude and daddy issues. Also he'd have a convenient epiphany about how he's still doing a lot of good from his dispatch role and all that.

Anyway just my 2 cents. Looking forward to season 2 if it ever comes. Maybe it can star Brunette Blazer as the main character seeing as she's the one who has lost her powers this time and Robert can be out in the field. Or better yet they can re-add the cut sex scenes from season 1.

Robert’s story is complete as is Visi’s. But the rest of the cast still have a lot they can delve into in terms of origins or introducing new big bads. The obvious one being Blazer’s gem and a fight for it, and needing to return to solving the Chase problem.

Not much to say, really. It's a turn-based superhero game, kind of billed as the XCOM of the superhero genre. But it's not, by far. Subpar story, awful voice acting. The really obnoxious part is there are all these finicky little "optional" mission objectives to earn points to upgrade your heroes. Optional was in quotes because you'll want to upgrade your heroes. This means you have to play a very specific way to unlock everything and really cuts down on any potential fun.

About the only thing worthwhile is how the heroes can combine powers can be kind of cool. Other than that it's all very basic and not worth writing home about. It's got a mixed rating on Steam for a reason. If you're really hard up for a turn based superhero game only get it on a very steep sale.

That sound kino actually. Considering Shroud had his own team of supervillains I could see them doing a prequel/DLC where you play as him. They've already got models and such for multiple villains like Toxic and Babyarms. The way his augments work give you options to shake up the gameplay a bit. Could even bring Visi back depending on when you set it.
