I was thinking about how in some "settings" goblins are all male. It would be neat if in a story a high-powered wizard in such a setting were to exterminate all the male goblins on the planet and then replace them with an artificial genetically modified race of all-female goblins. Basically he'd do it to make goblins less of a threat to humans while also maintaining their ecological niche in their habitats. Like compared to a male race of rape goblins female rape goblins wouldn't need to raid as much since a few humans would be as efficient to them for reproduction as 10x that amount for male rape goblins. Just a thought.
