You need have grown up in the 1990s and watched shows like 'Home Improvement', 'Brotherly Love', and 'Teen Angel' to kind of fully understand what Joe Cappa is going for here. Not a bad thing, but it applies to a very specific type of midwestern niche humor if you are not aware of it, lots of East and West coast types just cannot parse it out. It functions as both a critique on first world suburbia problems and as a genuine sitcom with some goofball kids who really are a handful for their single Dad.Great show, looking forward to the new episode tonight.

I watched the shorter animations on Joe Cappa's channel a couple years ago, and I think the humor flows better in short bursts. The episodes drag a bit too long for the content. Also waiting for the ghost mom's gradually increasing power in the living world to become relevant.
