Why do people need to treat the comic book industry and the anime and mega industry at odds or direct competition to each other like any finances for one has to be finances away from the other? Marvel did a number of Marvel IP's with manga which I do believe did well or what actually quite good. Both of these industry have done stuff with same streaming services like Netflix time and time again.What I want to see is more crossover events between anime and manga and American comic books.

They're putting all of their attention and money into adaptations. They don't care about comics or comics fans. They know to throw them a bone every so often with either cheap gimmicks or releasing something that should have been done long ago, but no actual effort.Crossovers are among those cheap, low-effort gimmicks.
