I didn't think Lorna would ever be able to come back from that Brood stunt, but it turns out Marvel's solution was to just not mention it again.

The whole pay off of this shit was meant to be, "Oh but the Brood helped them defeat Orchis," in that le epic action blockbuster moment of Stasis/Orchis underestimating them. For me the problem is these moments are just hollow as shit, they don't work as big epic action moments or call backs because none of the drama was interesting and all they do is exist as momentary bullshit. They aren't "psychotic murder fantasies," because the creators don't really think about them in those terms or explore themes like that in these books. This moment wasn't some big character ruining moment, it just straight up represents the multiplication effect of modern comics needing to up the stakes with such shit.
