This was actually pretty good

>>151324198>check torrent sites to see if it's been ripped yet>multiple porn movies with the same titlekek, Netflix didn't think that through. But it has indeed been ripped so I'm gonna watch it now.
>>151324725This will keep the movie from being forgotten no matter how boring it might be.
Bump to give me time to actually finish watching it before the thread dies. Geez OP, no more thoughts of your own for a thread you made?
>>151324198The kids are still ugly.
Ok, finished. Genuinely nice and quite heartfelt family film, I don't know why Netflix didn't release this for Christmas with better marketing, it would have been a good fit. As it is, a fucking early November release with little fanfare, it's probably just going to fly under the radar.I thought my opinion of it was going to sour quickly about half an hour in because I've hated cliché unnecessary wacky mascot characters for the longest time but the giraffe didn't actually play that big a role and the focus stayed on the kids and their story. Animation was good and it kept pop culture references to a minimum. Anime homage seems mandatory now but it's better than [contemporary pop song] dance party. The not-Chuck-E-Cheese's actually made me chuckle. Now to put my coomer hat on, Stevie a total qt in personality and appearance, I love sticc loli. Posters like >>151324725 are in for a treat because she's barefoot for like 90% of the movie. Would take more screencaps but I have to sleep myself. But worth a watch, I think.
>>151324198>full frontal child nuditywhat did Hollywood mean by this?
>>151326170Just to say if you saw the trailer, you saw all there was to see of that. But it's funny to know there are naked models of these characters, even if they are like Barbie and Ken (probably).
I liked it. I was surprised it ended with the parents staying together, the trailer made me think the moral was going to be about having to accept an unpleasant reality.
>>151324198The story was a bit generic, but it was still serviceable. I'm glad the parents got to participate in the rescuing, as usually these types of animation plots involving family issues like divorce/remarrying, prefer to exclude the parents while the child character processes the grief themselves or solely with the fantasy characters. (Netflix's Over the Moon / Infinity Train). It feels important to have the parents involved in some fashion. The little brother was also endearing and wasn't shafted. I wish the giraffe stuffed animal character didn't exist at all, but they knew when to exclude him.I would've liked some more scenes with Nightmara.
Weird Netflix releasing two 'big' animated films in a row about divorce. Nightmara was so wasted, only on screen a couple of minutes, here's hoping she gets noticed and gets a lot of art. It's hard to really pinpoint anything bad about the film but it still feels like there's something stopping it from being great. The Sandman wasn't evil, just misguided, so the big action scene against him felt too forced (even if the choice of music was funny) . The lead girl's design really needed a do-over, she's the only character that really looks terrible (maybe she was based off of a designers daughter and they refused to budge or somehting).
>>151324198Yeah it was pretty straightforward, even had a happy ending.
>>151330225I was also surprised by the ending.
