Ah fuck theres 4 mondays every November
>>151325232You know, on my way to work this morning, I was thinking.Garfield hates Mondays, but as a cat, he doesn't have to go to work on a Monday after a weekend. Time is nothing to him. I get that he hates Mondays because Mondays hate him, but that's all still a bit unjustified.
>>151325232I live in Miami. What is this raw, icy November wind you speak of, Garfield -kun?
>>151325485"Garfield does not have a job, Garfield does not go to school and every day is the same. Nevertheless every Monday is just a reminder that his life is the same old, same old cycling again and for some reason even though his life is pretty much the same every day on Mondays specifically, awful things tend to happen to him physically."
>>151325727Why can't the arbitrary day be any other day of the week.
>>151325778Because hating Mondays in particular is a common sentiment among neurotypical human beings, so making the cartoon cat hate the same day as them for entirely different reasons is funny.
>>151325823>Because hating Mondays in particular is a common sentimentThat's dumb though.
>namefag is an autistic retardwho would have guessed
Yeah well at least I don't hate any particular day of the week for no reason at all, pussy.
>>151325664>>151325727Well Jim's from Indiana where November is not so nice as it is in Southern Florida.
>>151325232Garfield is right. And because people have a job or go to school Monday sucks because it feels like you're back at the beginning. You did something that sucked all week and then it was over but now it's starting all over again, the cycle like Jim Davis said. Anon doesn't really need this explained.
>>151325664>>151326188As someone who lives in Massachusetts, I honestly have no idea what the fuck Jim Davis is even complaining about. November weather really isn't that bad.
>>151326485>I honestly have no idea what the fuck Jim Davis is even complaining about. November weather really isn't that bad.Midwest weather is absolute dogshit. It's either blazing hot in the summer or deathly cold in the winter. sometimes it can interchange. We got an inch of snow near where I live last week and it just recently melted. One year we got hail in May.
>>151325232God, I want to fuck Nermal! <3 <3 <3
>>151326052>>151326135Pets probably do hate Mondays even if they don't have our concept of what a Monday is since lots of them hate when their owners leave them to do something like their Mon-Fri job.Of course that's more of a dog like Odie thing and Jon Arbuckle seems to be a cartoonist that mostly woks from home.
>>151329900That's the thing. Garfield isn't most pets. What does Jon even do.
>>151325232gar field
The weather this month in the Northeast has been rather nice if breezy every day due to the location of the jetstream.
>>151328521Every time some faggot makes sexy girl Garfield you have to say "NERMAL IS RIGHT THERE"
>>151329921Scroll up one fucking post to the very first Garfield strip ever made
>>151326188>>151332138I did a weather check. Indiana is pretty much just like Pennsylvania atm outside of it's raining there today. Mostly the same temperatures, maybe a bit warmer nighttime lows.
>>151329900>>151325485Comparing old Garfield with new Garfield is always such a trip
>>151333302Reminder that there was also that weird in-between phase here he was standing upwards but still had more cat like feet.Charles Schultz (guy who made Peanuts) was actually the one to suggest giving Garfield the big feet he has now.
>>151326485It's not that bad any more, but in the 80s and 90s we'd get several inches of snow either on or just after Halloween and it would stay that way until April. As a kid, I literally thought winter was 6 months long and that the seasons were not evenly divided through the year because I didn't understand that November and December were actually fall months despite the snow covering everything the whole time.
>>151333302If it helps understand it better, the 1978 version is right after Jim Davis finished actually drawing Tumbleweeds and the current era is Gary Barker.
>>151333601it depends on where you live. in Minnesota winter is effectively November to March.
>>151333761>and the current era is Gary Barker. And Brett Koth, who basically serves as Jim's writing assistant who does most of the rough drafts of the comics before Gary puts them on model.
Garfield sketches are always fun to see
Jim Davis' Garfield sketches
>>151325727So what happens the day Jim Davis passes?
>>151325232Garfield has an easily identifiable silhouette
>>151335201It's a newspaper comic someone else will take over, then when he dies someone else will take over
>>151335201>>151336024Garfield is owned by Nickelodeon now so they’re going to do whatever they want with him.
>>151335835>I have mistaken pattern recognition for intelligence
>>151325232gato perezoso
>>151333541Schultz had a foot fetish?
>>151325232Post 2003 Garfield would never bother with making the 2nd panel different
Jon won.
>>151338585She looks like she fucks canines
>>151332192OH SO HE DOESN'T GO TO WORK WHICH MAKES THE TEXT FROM THAT SAME EXACT POST, THE ONE THAT I REPLIED TO SPECIFICALLY IN THE CONTEXT OF >their owners leave them to do something like their Mon-Fri jobCOMPLETELY IRRELEVANT?
>>151328521Prove to me this cat is indeed sexy enough to plow.
>>151325232I love the cold. I love leafless trees. I love gray skies. FUCK anyone who complains about November or fall or winter.
>>151339943>Worlds cutest ticklish big feet that has cutest yummy toes to play with>Smug look>A cat is fine too>Fat and cute soft plushy body. More cushion for the pushin'>Fun tail for sex pIay>Big cutest eyes>Long narrow legs for love handle and licking like delicious ice cream>Genuinely loves you if you say love back, more love than Garfield who demand lasagna and food for sex>having large mouth and tongue>A FUCKING FEMALE VOICE>Also, a cat is fine too
>>151337956Well one of his favorite characters to use was Peppermint Patty.
>>151325232I like garfield.
>>151340456Anon you crazy
>>151325727The way Odie's mouth is drawn has always angered me for some reason. Anyone else relate?
>>151333601https://www.wrtv.com/weather/severe-weather/taking-a-look-at-the-winter-weather-extremes-in-central-indiana>Indianapolis has had nearly snowless winters. In 1931-31, we only hand .20 inches of snow. More recently, in 1997-98, we only had 3.9 inches of snow in Indianapolis.>We've had relentless winters. Over 52 inches of snow fell during 2013-14. Just under a foot blanketed Indianapolis on Jan. 5, 2014 followed by temperatures at 15 below zero.
