The enlightened approach would be to use it strategically to cut down on the work of inbetweens for animation and hopefully making it a step closer for a single person to pump out their own movie, or reduce the team size and the timeframe of said movies. And I don't mean just making an AI movie with prompts, but the artist doing the heavy leg work of key frames, and transitional inbetween frames. Since working on 1s or 2s for animation is long. 1s = 60 frames per second, 2s = 30 frames per second, 3s = 20 frames per second. And then just extrapolate if even a third of that could be remedied with AI animation. But I would hope this puts more power into the hands of smaller and ambitious teams.

I think AI is going to result in 2 things:>Artists are going to have to get a lot more weird, fucked up, and controversial with their works, corporate AI is guaranteed to be extremely censored because corpos are scared to death of anything truly controversial (rape, pedophilia, excessive detailed gore, violence towards women, etc. etc.) and as such will never be able to generate any of these things on the corporate level>Artists and artist circles will have to learn to be more comfortable with these things, no more bitching on social media because some legitimately talented artist did a heckin misogyny by drawing an evil ogre eating a woman after killing her, either you get over your hangups or you get replaced by wholesome AI that will generate infinite coffeeshop AUs, gay dramatic musicals, and trans-inclusive magic schools for the audience of gay teenagers who have no standards and will eat that shit up anyways.The slop will continue to slop, the question is if people will adapt or if they'll just bitch impotently while they get replaced by the slop machine.
