I look back and figure there really was something to the idea of polishing and cleaning inanimate objects that could be sensual, and for horror which always stuck with me as interesting concept. Like robophilia but for older folks.

It's not a very popular movie by modern standards. Nothing against The Brave Little Toaster - it has a good enough story and some decenf music, but it's usually what's the most mainstream and easy to draw (or gen if you're making ai sloppa) that tends to attract the most attention to smut peddlers and gooners on R34.
