How do you think Hank and Dean turned out as adults?
After spending so long getting harassed by supervillains they probably both got out of the game.Neither of them are into super-science.
>>151331072they will turn better than Rusty
>>151331072Dean probably goes straight while Hank either joins the OSI or does some whacky business shit.
>>151331072Dean has a happy normal life. Hank goes into porn.
I think Dean will continue leaving super science and become a jornalists - and will probably write a book about his experiences. Even then he will keep acidently getting involved with super science no matter what he do - he will try to write about some amazon tribe and be chased by alligator-men - he will try to write about a celebrity wendng, and it will be trashed by super vilains, and so on. With Hank its harder for me to figure out. I can sort of picture him bouncing from villain henchmen, to OSI agent, to solo hero, to solo villain and etc. He does all of this with a smile and ends up making friends all around. ---I think whatever they become, will be some sort of reference. And references in Venture Bros usually involve a lot of things tied together.Phanton Limb - reference to The Phanton, to Fantomas, and to the phantom limb syndrome.Brock Samson - reference to Doc Savage, James Bond, the wrestler Sid Eudy, and old action movie protagonists Hand&Dean - reference to Hardy Boys, mixed with Jonnhy Quest and some bits of Fred from Scooby Doo ad Peter Parker.I have no idea what sort of reference would Dean and Hank eventually evolve into. What you guys think?
>>151331072Dean goes into journalism, Hank gets his PI license and channels crazy dead people as Hank Venture, Medium Dick.
>>151331356I feel like Desmont and Hank both on the OSI would get sort of repetitive.
>>151332548It would lead into a sort of buddy cop dichotomy like what Brock and Shore Leave have but with Hank and Dermott’s relationship already there. Not to mention Hank has the perfect skills to be an agent and has shown he can take the heat and even outsmart Hunter.
>>151331072Venture Bros should've gotten that eighth season. I feel like its only sin was debuting just a decade too early to be truly appreciated
>>151331556Dean becomes a Nathan Drake / Jimmy Olsen / Paul Salopek , except he is more wimpish. He is a moderatly recognizable reporter that keeps getting into adventures and super situations despite trying to avoid them as much as possible, constantly traveling across the world. He is married to a normie women and has normie kids, and a fairly okay personal life. After retiring Brock Samson often goes along with him on the adventures and dean's kids call him grandpa Sam. He plans to write his memmories one day.Hank becomes a mix of Pewdpie / Mr.Beast / Bruce Wayne (the fake identity, but real in this case) - the first Super Hero Influencer. He records things like - "Today I got an Iron Man armor and I will go fight crime" - "Today I'm disguised as a henchman from my father's nemesis, how long they discover me?" - "Can these henchmen survive my Labyrinth of Wonders?" - "One Week as a ScoobyDoo vilain!" - "Today I'm THE BAT". This made Hank a billionaire - which he uses to fund more of his videos - and pay for Dean's travels. Rusty is leeching off Hank. How does that sound?
It's kind of funny, the series began with Dean as the naive one and Hank as the realistic one, but the roles swapped pretty fast.
>>151334051Oh also forgot to mention. Hank eventually marries a supr vilainess as crazy as him, who used to be a fangirl of the Guild (Monarch is one of her faves, doc GF a huge inspiration).
>>151334085>Dean as the naive one and Hank as the realistic oneThe serie started with both as oblivious buffons. Hank was supposed to be the strong one but he was a weakling that had no idea what he was doing, and Dean the smart one but he was a dumbass. They were straight up useless (even if funny ones). As the show went on, they actually started to living up to their roles.
>>151331072Did anyone actually like this character? Like, are there people who truly missed her? Cause she always felt like a weak character that Doc and Chris were forcing themselves to write for. She felt like a mandatory love interest.
>>151334138Meh, the issue is that she really doesn't interact with the rest of the cast that much. I wouldn't mind if she and the boys had more solo adventures, but the show is really more about Rusty and the Monarch, so they get the spotlight - the creators's true call was always writing middle aged men.
Dean seems like he'd turn into Action Johnny, even if Hank is more the adventurer type
>>151331072Hank turned out pretty capable. Dean's a bitch, but a smart one. Those boys are going places
>>151334138>love interestThat's the thing, she was amusing enough as a girl next door for Dean and ancillary character in general like the rest of the supporting cast, the problems start when the relationship drama got serious instead of remaining a gag.
>>151334051>Dean changes his name to be succeful by his own merits, and to not get pulled in the crazy super hero stuff.>Not even his wife knows that he is a Venture>He tells his family that Unc Sam(son) used to be mall security guard, this is why he can kick ass >His wife eventually dsicover it on the season finally of season 40Season 40 as reference would be taken place 20 years in universe - if we consider that the first 6 seasons cover around 2-3 years. If we take in consideration how much time it took to make 6 seasons, it would take 133 real years out of universe to reach it. >>151334279That's more of a Dean in a bad timeline. Action Johnny is also meant to paralel more Rusty too (in the therapy episode Rusty notices that despite everything he is dealing better with how things turned out).
>>151331556Nice venture sisters
>>151331072I love when Hank's hair is drawn with more definition, one of the better developments as the series went on
>>151331219The bar is in hell
I stopped watching after I think season 3. How does it fare after that?
>>151336238imo it gets better and better The season premier of season 6 is meantto be the finally of season 5, and I think it is the best finale. This said season 6 and 7 is still very fun and the movie is good (tho it feels like an abridged season because it is exactly that).
>>151334138I wanted these two to show up again desu.
>>151337311Who are these two? I stopped watching a while back & don't recall them.
>>151337390They show up in season 3. They're the daughters of an old flame of Rusty's
Hank joins OSI as a quirky super spy. He's not the best ever but he's a named character. He's not Duke or Snakeyes, but like the B-Team character on the level of Gung-Ho.Dean lives in the suburbs having escaped all the super science bullshit with a white picket fence and a wife, and he lives a middle class existence and is perfectly happy for it.
>>151337495Dean doesn't hate super science, he hates the repercussions of it going poorly, the antics of villains and the negligence of the adults who should be responsible. He clearly enjoyed his time studying STEM in college or whenever he could apply his wits productively. That said he likely will recluse from the Venture circle to avoid the poor association, though he might end up more like Billy than Dr. Z for it.Also Brock is absolutely going to leverage all his weight or even blackmail material to block any feasible chance of Hank being approved or enlisted by OSI after seeing how dodgy it can be. I do see Brock being willing to maybe call in favors for Hank to do a Batman Year One and receive training from people he knows will help him learn how to fend for himself but keep him out of trouble. What Hank gets up to from there is a coin toss.
Hi guys, a lady anon here. Attracted here by Dean.I really, really want to make sweet love to cute freckled redheads.Like I really want to be in their arms as they kiss me on the cheek. And I cuddle them in only their pajamas.Should I watch the Venture Bros? Is Dean what I'm looking for? Or are there others I should be on the lookout for too?
>>151337755Bitches like Dean, yeah.Go for it, imo its the best western animated show ever created.
Hank>joins OSI and becomes Brock's protege (in an official capacity anyway)>gets partnered with Dermott and both are relegated to mostly low tier ops in the beginning before proving they can handle bigger stuff>has a gf that hides her identity as a villain with the guild secret >she is not using him>they already started dating when he showed up to deal with a protocol breach she found out he was an agent but he didn't recognize herDean>probably become either a reporter (like other anon have said) or works in a mundane STEM field>still has to deal with bullshit but is happier given he is living more or less peacefully>has a gf he met at work that is a lois lane/april oneil type that questions and playfully teases him about not going into the family business
>>151337755Just by itself it's an amusing show, assuming you have the humor for the source of comedy, so by all means check it out, but if you're specifically watching for Dean I'd say you'll do well for most of it but at the tail end there are some head shake moments for Dean.
>>151337311Anyone else think that they are cousins to the boys?Their grandma was one of Jonas regular partners, who knows how many bastards Jonas sired.
>>151338004I mean it's not impossible. Tara kind of looks like the female version of Rusty. But I think that was more for the sake of the that than it being her literally being his sister like how Nancy and Drew are twins but unlike Hank and Dean they are identical. But given Publick and Hammer like to do callbacks that become more developed they would probably make them siblings and add another layer of awkwardness and trauma to it Tara and Rusty's relationship.
>>151338004Wouldn't surprise me, there was clearly some sort of vibe around Rusty and Quymn's upbringing.
>>151331806This deserved more responses.
>>151337755It’s literally one of my favourite things ever. So I would love to just say, hell yeah. Though if you’re attracted to it because of Dean, chances are you might not like how the show treats him all that much.
>>151338440>chances are you might not like how the show treats him all that much.Eh, Dean kinda deserves a lot of it. He does turn into a bit of an asshole for Season 5 until Hank helps snap him out of it at the end of Gargantua-2
>>151338222I glossed over the rest when Dean was given a role I couldn't see fitting.>>151331806But the end bit was solid. My bad.
>>151336238you should at least get to the end of s4, not that the rest is bad but that one ends very nicely
>>151337859>has a gf he met at work that is a lois lane/april oneil type I could easily see this as her being the outlet to which gets him occasionally dragged back into the adventurer shit every now and then, because she's into it or at least actively connected to it. Like her Ex is superhero/crimefighter (who may or may not be a member/affiliate of the Crusader's Action League) and or has sewer dwelling mutant friends.
>>151337825>>151337911>>151338440Thank you frens! Dean is so hawt, I love him!
>>151331072Dean came out of the closet as the fruity little fairy he is and became my husband
>>151337436No, I'm illiterate, spoon feed me nigger.
>>151338859>Hey May, who is this skinny dude?>Oh this is Dean, my new boyfriend>New boyfriend? Man, Clarence isn't gonna like this>*may rolls her eyes*>Anyway, Dean this is Beethoven>A pleasure>BachSalutations>Wagner>Sup>And Mozart>Nice to meetcha dude>Uhhh, Hi, So are you guys alligators>Watch it pipsqueak, we're caimans>Ah come on Wag it was a simple question, and even I forget sometime>Cram it, Mozzy>Now now my son, no need to raise your voice>an elderly mutate raccoon steps out of the shadows>*in unison* Sifu>Dean, this is Sifu Chip>A pleasure>My, what a polite young man
>>151339249Make them middle aged judo fighters
>>151339604Who says they aren’t already? It would explain why they talk like it’s still 1987
>>151331072If these guys were born after 1998 there's a 50% chance Dean would've trooned out
>>151339885>Who says they aren’t already? It would explain why they talk like it’s still 1987This could work. Like they already defeated their equivalent of the Foot back in the early 90s, but it set the precedence for why Brock and Rocco thought Yumi was "a den of ninjas", because there used to be one back in the 80s and the OSI and the Guild were aware of but didn't really bother with at the time.
>>151333503While it would have been nice for Venture Bros to get the love it deserved, it being a cult show too early is what helped it be so good. Debuting a decade later would have given it less creative freedom with how much bigger and more corporate Adult Swim would be and it might have fallen into the loop of shows that are never allowed to end when they should. The only reason Gravity Falls in your picture avoided that fate with only bits of content after it ended to keep fans happy is because Disney did not care about its animated cartoons at the time. As much as Alex complained about the standards and practices, they let him get away with so much more than Disney animation in its prime would allow. I still can't believe they let him have a bunch of mounted animal heads pour blood all over the walls.
>>151337390Nancy and Drew
>>151340128Hirsch is by all accounts a skilled writer and performer, but timing definitely played a part in his early success. Disney happened to be fully investing in younger talent for original pitches as he was fresh out of college. It's been over a decade now, and the guy hasn't had much luck getting anything new off the ground since.
>>151331072What well-dressed young men! Their father must be very proud
>>151338004They apparently considered Quymn being the boys' mom or related to Rusty in some way, but dropped it, so who knows.
>>151342093Haha, yeah... about that...
>>151338118"Semi identical." One is a boy. Re-watch the episode.
Dean gets out of the lifestyle and lives a mostly comfortable happy life without totally disowning his family.Hank I always imagine as becoming a villain but not actually evil. Like he simply enjoys the theatrics and action >>151342705>Have a falsie joke>Trannychasers now headcanon that you're a man
>>151331072Cigar?
>>151342705she's a teenage girl stuffing her brathe joke is that Dean is so sheltered he doesn't even know that's a thingyou are the joke now
>>151340128>>151341613Its also interesting to note that Gravity Falls was originally meant to be 3 seasons but Hirsch for all his talent did not have the stamina to showrun properly at the time, and had to be convinced by other members of the team to even take on season 2.
>>151331072Hank and Dermott are the new Venture Brothers. Hank carries around a big wrench like Adult Dexter and Dermott has a Cyborg Stroheim body with a big gatling gun in his chest. Team Venture includes Rocket Impossible as a Reality Warper, Triana Orpheus as a Master Mistress of Magic, and some other references I'm forgetting for this New Avengers style Team Venture.Dean is now Doctor Reacher, Giraffe-patterned Suit-wearing Supervillain Master of New York City, head of the Guild of Calamitous Intent, as so led to his birthright by Mantilla. He carries a Giraffe themed staff with a little Mr. Reachy head on the end. Also something about being Dean of Stuyvesant University as well as either a laundering for his operations, maybe he's still incognito somehow, or the whole University is just focused on arching via the Guild. Idk though all of that was spitballing on the fly, I've never really thought about it deeply beyond listening to the Justice League Unlimited theme https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vBuVL8d4Lu4and imagining a goofy opening of this where Hank and Dermott yell GO TEAM VENTURE right as that musical thing that probably has a name where the credits appear at 0:18, like it's THE NEW VENTURE BROTHERS and it's all extreme and future and Dermott gets a bit where he does the Stroheim pose while gatling gunning down henchmen, and it'd be a big fakeout for the comedy of the show coming in to contrast it in whatever hypothetical episode this would be covering all this.
Judging by how Dean literally did the "I'm going to pay you $100 dollars to fuck off" bit to get Monarch to leave him be, I'd say he's on track to be a pretty decent adult.Hank, now that he's kind of cured of his weird schizo ADHD shit because of the coma world, is probably bound to start behaving more maturely because he's not being pulled every which way by identities and other crap. He's bound to still be very immature, but I imagine he'll look at things a bit more proactively and not rush off on whims thinking the worst case scenario just because he hasn't seen someone for five minutes.
>>151334279Nah, neither have ever had drug problems, and even Johnny was getting his shit together the last few times he showed up. I like to imagine after their final arching together, Dr. Z is probably paying Johnny a lot of visits to check on him and just give the poor guy someone to shoot the breeze with and vent to.
>>151338004It's a very strong possibility since their grandmother was clearly in a thing with Jonas, but it's anybody's guess since the creators loved making implications and then throwing curveballs that revealed something entirely different. Like how there's implications of Billy being a Jonas bastard because Jonas may have gotten with Rose, or maybe used her in cloning experiments since prior to Rusty having the clone tanks, the clone tech may have required women to surrogate the pregnancies.
>>151340021>Hey Brock, have you ever heard of a group called "The Claw">*Brock looks up and thinks for a moment*>Oh yeah, they were a group of ninjas that operated out of New York in the 80s>They were on the OSI's radar but we had our hands full with other crap like Sphinx and The Guild>Do you know what happened to them?>Last I heard they fell apart around 92 or 93, never looked into it, either the police got 'em or they probably just fell apart>Why do you ask?>O-oh, well I am helping May >She is writing an article on the New York ninja subculture of the 80s and its resurfacing in recent years, and I wanted to know if you knew anything?>Nah, I don't got much for you, sorry>It's alright, later Brock >*Dean leaves the room and a receipt falls from his pocket*>*Brock goes to pick it up*>Twenty five pepperoni pizzas, what the hell?
>>151331556>>151331356>>151331511Hank is institutionalized and Dean comes and visits him every weekend, and reads Tom Sawyer to him while visiting for exactly one hour and 22 minutes, each visit.
>>151331072I can't say for sure when it comes to Dean, but Hank is so into all the craziness of the life he's apart of, and do weirdly hyper competent in the oddest ways, that I feel like there's no way adult Hank isn't pretty much running the OSI in the future. Remember how he basically passed every 'test' Sphinx threw at him? He was basically born to be a Venture.
Dean becomes a more chill manwhore in college. He falls for a seemingly normal woman who was a low level villainess who is running from her past. They have the 2.5 kids and white picket fence. Hes actually a genius on par with Jonas but all of his super science is theoretical, because hes seen what it can lead too. Has a nobody/John wick moment when her old enemies come back for her. Hank is personally trained by Brock till they haveva falling out over Hank butchering a room full of serpent worshippers. He goes rogue and begins to learn from teachers across the planet. Even playing as a hero and villain. Crashes out and becomes a weed smoking burnout that lives on Dermotts couch. Dean calls Hank for help they go full team venture and take down the emperor of new York. Brock Dermott OSI show up to help.
>>151345701Why Tom Sawyer? I feel like you’re making a reference that I will feel retarded over missing.
>>151345766Rusty even points out how Hank is in his element when it comes to all the crazy shit they go through when he and Hatred fake kidnap him.
>>151337311I got turned off from them when they were disgusted by Dean/Hank (can't remember which) being uncut. First time I was ever self conscious about having my foreskin intact.
>>151343203Give me head.
>>151346340you did not just say that
>>151346251Hank in his prime is basically going to be a more optimistic Nick Fury as he leads the OSI into its golden age.

>>151331072When I watch Venture bros I can only empathize with the characters because it reminds me of my real life, when I discovered the series it was at season 5, then each season when they had a change I felt too that I had change like them.>at 18 start university of engineering because long line of engineers and I like math and I've been prepared by my family since I was little since my brother is a hot headed guy who only listen to himself but we're "The head and The Arm" relationship>Notice that it's not my call but keep going but after 2 years fail, but family decide to let me in the family business, my brother is not even considered>The first year of work was hard and I didn't liked one bit, the clients, the work, the material to study. My brother keep changing jobs (Because can only find Timed contracts)>But year after Year I start noticing it's not that bad Engineering (especially when the last season came and Dean was re-itnroduced into the university life and super science) and I started to feel pride in my job and what I do, and my brother is not a deadbeat that my family keep saying he is.>Now I'm going back to university, my brother found a steady job, we work wtogether in a lot of projects, like programming a Raspberry Pi for retrogaming, modify our old Xbox Classic, repairing the PSP, build a PC server and put it in our house as a Media Center.I liked the dynamics of their family and especially the brothers I always liked them and I think it really felt like brotherly love what I saw I mean they are different in every aspect but they are still brothers.Anyway I think they'll turn like many said here, Hank will be a OSI operative or Superhero something like this, While dean for me will become a Super scientist but at his own terms or maybe just a normal person like a journalist.sorry ESL.

If Billy and Pete are still around they'd still have actual level headed scientists in charge and if not Dean would have hired decent people considering his own knowledge in science. Hank would 100% become an OSI agent or some Batmanesque hero once he mentally grew up. He has all the skills and training being raised more by Brock than Rusty since he was a baby and always embraced the boy adventurer life more than Dean did.>>151336208>Rusty used the heart of an orphan to power a machine>Gave the American government the means to reanimate dead protestors in corrupt South American nations they're backing and strapping bombs onto them to explode in crowds of protestorsThe bar is way past Hell for Rusty.
