>>151334250So... The Wild Robot then?
>>151334250both movies are good
>>151335393Better comic relief.
>>151335532Was Migration really? I like The Wild Robot, but felt it was overhyped
>>151335583It's the most overrated Dreamworks movie has ever made. There, I said it. I prefer watching again Dog Man than The Overrated Robot, at least that one was pretty funny and had no pretensions, unlike the vapid Chris Sanders movie. TLW was far much better recent Dreamworks movie, and a real contender for being a real masterpiece for the Katzenberg company than that vapid shit. Doofus shit main character. Besides TLW and Dog Man, Dreamworks is ruined and creatively bankrupt, nothing good in between. Migration, on the other hand, is by far the best Illumination movie. Not necesarily brilliant, but it works in it's humbleness and benefits from having Benjamin Renner at director, and it shows in the character designs, animation and acting.
>>151334250the one thing that stuck out was the dance party ending. really odd choice, otherwise peak kino
>>151335807calm down
I do enjoy Migration more. Its european visual style (no wonder the director is the same guy who directed The Big Bad Fox and Other Tales) is a lot more visually interesting than Wild Robot' generic look.
I did watch The Wild Robot on theaters with my sister and with my nephews back in 2024. I remember being bored, just like the audience. Little to no laughs, the odd feeling in the air that nobody was very engaged, no clapping at the end, etc. It was a dull time at the movies. All the contrary to Migration, which was a pleasant surprise. Lots of laughs from the audiences and they clapped at the end, myself included.

>>151334250>the lust mom>>151335568He dragged the whole movie down, but I did like the dance number Mack and Pam did trying to save him. I'd have preferred more about the blue duck family than the chef.
>>151337259>the lust mom There isn't a single frame where she doesn't look arousing as hell
>the movie Wild Robot should’ve been
>>151338245This was so good. If only I still cared about the Animation Oscar. Happy for the team getting more potential eyes on their film tho
>>151337100For what reason?
>>151334250Sequel when?
>>151339250>it's the blue duck's family version of events
>>151338288Agreed. The future of animated flicks is here, and not in the vapid and joyless slop that North American mainstream animated movies has become nowadays.
