I know some people don't care about it whenever Judy and Nick gettogether or not as romantic partners, but it would be foolish to think that its not one of the most hotly debated topic of the fandom.

Directors are at fault of course, first off, they could've shut down the idea after Zootopia 1 in interviews, but instead they said its "ambiguous" where they want the viewer to decide to themselves what they think their relationship is.

And the viewers choose, and overwhelming majority, over 80% of the fandom, on every social platform always is gonna be expressing love for what a cute couple the two would make.

I have seen people complaining about the shippers being annoying, which can be true, but seeing the promotional material for Zootopia it's extreemely obvious that the directors are ship-baiting the audience.

Meanwhile the haters of the ship can be just as, if not even more annoying. When I see shippers, they are happy for Judy and Nick. When I see anti-shippers, they are happy about shippers not getting what they wanted. Which is really a miserable existence if you ask me, if your happiness depends on how upset others are.

And that brings us to the sequel, where the leaks of the red-carpet event are so divisive that there are both shippers celebrating the heavily implied romance will lead eventually to Judy's and Nick's happily ever after, to non-shippers celebrating that they will see shippers have a meltdown over Judy and Nick not becoming canon.

I heard about the supposed mid-credit scene in Judy's room with the carrot pen recording being super shippy and foreshadowing romance, while I also heard others claiming there is nothing shippy about the mid-credit scene and it only enforces them harder as platonic friends. At this point I have no idea what leak to believe.

Did Jared and Byron really created and entire movie filled with romantic innuendos and imagery, only to keep Judy and Nick ambiguous as to subvert expectations? Or are these lies and there is really something that ends the ambiguity?

I already have seen the fell for it again award where Wildehoppsfags are talking about how it is setting up for the epic third film and they just have to practice chastity for 10 more years
They do it because it works and shipperfags will keep consuming even if it is fully platonic just because of a few bait scenes

>they just have to practice chastity for 10 more years
Wish you losers would fuck off with this shit. It'll be like 2 years at the most. God forbid you wait for a finale in a trilogy.

that would be insane
No disney theatrical sequel was away made faster than 4 years.

Also, if they really tease birds, I suspect 4 years exactly because that will be the year of the Rooster in china

Frozen is their certified biggest franchise megahit they never stopped the breaks on producing
It will still take 8 years between Frozen 2 and Frozen 3

the anti-shippers that can't handle a good romance story and everything has to be platonic because they hate love?
