Couldn't get 3 episodes into season 2... the adult swim tram that gave him advice really killed the show.
I did pay for the graphic novel though.
It was just so good despite Gary kinda sucking.

This show had the same energy as Genndy's Unicorn Warriors Eternal in the way that it mainly consisted of tropes that didn't feel satisfyingly built up but rather just because the creators found them to be cool. Characters getting killed off only to be brought back, lore that I felt nothing toward, epic and cinematic frames preceding big "climactic" battles, etc.

Lord Commander as a character and Avocado's dark secret surrounding his son and the resulting drama after it's uncovered all made for entertaining moments but the show as a whole was largely forgettable. Shame about how it was treated though.

S2 and like the last half of S1 are literally the only good parts of this shitty show
