She has great setup but no followthrough on anything, and seems too afraid to have real consequences for any character that isn't the designated Angel punching bag. I genuinely got invested in the Vox storyline, only for him to have a shit backstory and get defeated by friendship lasers. What about this plot about propaganda was actually followed through upon? What’s the lesson for this complex and relevant topic? His followers all instantly turn on him and his Alastor boner is so overblown that it’s practically his whole character and single-handedly ruined all his plans with no interference required. There’s literally nothing you could take away from this story, the ‘heroes’ barely needed to do anything. I’ve had my problems with Glitch’s writing before, but whatever they’re leading up to has to be better than whatever that was. I’m just gonna wait for the new TADC episode and wash my mouth out with dish detergent.

Am I the only one who thinks the pacing is good? Life in the circus is episodic so they can really just run on character development and wrap up the plot in ep8 to 9. They've kept it stylistically varied that way too.
