No. And before anyone brings it up, "early writing and planning" doesn't mean it's been greenlit or in production. A script is being made and that's it. I can say I'm writing a screenplay but is a movie happening? No. Officially, it's fanfiction. No different from any other fan continuation.

I finally watched that Doctor Sleep movie around Halloween. I have to say, I was not expecting fucking RWBY to be mildly plot relevant in the sequel to The Shining of all things.

Show's dead, at least animated-wise. Viz bought the IP so they'd have the manga rights forever. So you're more likely to get a manga or book sequel than another season.

They're basically split into two entirely seperate groups, Group A who was into it all the way until Volume 3 and dropped off around 4 or 5, and Group B who pretty much went all in all the way to Volume 9. The latter kinda creeps me out with how they'll pretty much make up whatever mental gymnastics they need to justify every single decision made in the series.
