Not helping is the fact that so many PG or Y7 shows have child protagonists to appeal to kids even more, like you seriously think any adult is gonna wanna watch sanitized kiddieslop like Big City Greens or Primos outside of watching it with their kid? Cartoons from the 90’s and 2000’s had tons of adult protagonists which once again helped them appeal to everyone.
