Things I noticed I wanna point out:>The retcon of their world not only made everything "normal" in the past but also changed the distance between time periods. Marshall as a child would have been around 1000 years ago but now it seems more like 20 years ago in normalized fionna world.>Treehouse in Fionna world can be used to see different time periods, and it seems like HW may be able do this with any tree, since the treehouse isn't too special, it's not the heart of the forest after all.>Gary's parents are shown, and they're supposed to be humanized versions of the mother gum that PB (and I presume pre-retcon Gumball) came from originally. Neddy is also shown as "Nelly" which was cute, but we also see photos of other unknown characters that don't seem to be Uncle Gumbald, Aunt Lolly, or Cousin Chicle, but rather new family members.>Cake stretching and breaking out of HW's arm and her reattaching to it again is very visually similar to Finn's grass arm detaching and regrowing, down to the zoom in as well. Possible connection/allusion?>M-Chron was shown sitting in the swan ride that Jake and Lady "made the pups" in, lol. It also looks like PB's swan from the Dungeon episode (due to the joystick on the head)>We see the demonic wishing eye again, and it seems like the demon inside (Wishy) can just straight up not grant wishes properly, which is very unreliable given it costs a part of your soul to use it... Could also be because Heart of the Forest power supercedes his power.

This episode wasn't that bad. Although HW's scenes weren't as exciting as previous episodes, she and Cake bounced off each other really well. The "townie" shit was more bearable and didn't feel like that much of a slog to watch, so that was a plus. I'm betting if Minerva shows up at all this season, it'll just be like Finn did in Obsidian.
