Are there any jokes you found less funny when you found out what they were parodying?

Daffy Duck's Danny Kaye impression is still funny but it became a little less funny once I heard the record it was parodying and realized it wasn't some kind of crazy improv, it was "Mel, can you do yell CUCARACHA! the way Danny yells SOFT AND MELLOW!":

I haven't read the Rover Boys books but I imagine people might have this reaction to The Dover Boys if they did read them.

I do remember a critic saying that even though Daffy is ripping off that record, he makes a better Danny Kaye than Danny Kaye.
