I remember how before the james thing, anons only half joked that the table gang would mess up any chance Mike has of finding new friends and leaving the table.

It's probably the fact that Daisy has never been a favorite, but come on. Do some legwork to make it reasonable. I know in the Halloween chapter Augustus ask how any of them are friends, but that doesn't make it excusable. Consider it similar to a dine-and-dash, except you impersonate the owner of the restaurant after the fact, making it into a public trade, oh oops now the owner has to destroy all evidence of the stock market or their domain is legally binding.
