Are Dc Finest editions a good place to start collecting comics? It bothers me that they are paperback with so many pages as I dont know how durable they might realistically be
>>151560178I have to reapply glue on my absolute edition of Watchmen. So while the more expensive edition may be more durable it will probably still need to be repaired at some point. Near Mint Condition has a video where he fixes omnibuses: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9jO_yBeWBo8A 'tism thing that bothers people is that big page counts lead to creases on the spine but that's more for paperbacks at like 1000 pages. DC Finest are not notably bigger than a Marvel Epic Collection and I haven't heard of creased spine complaints on either DC Finest or Marvel Epic. DC Finest is a great way to start since it's a new line and I think they are all available/not out of print.
