That's why Fionna is such mess now, she never went through all the shit Finn went through when he was a kid because Prismo never wrote that into his stories because he's a typical fanfic writer and just made his MC a self insert power fantasy. Fionna always won and she always got to kiss all the boys. It's why she never lost an arm like all the other Finn's, Prismo probably thought it was too depressing. But now that she's in world where a God doesn't make the universe bend over for her she's struggling and she's finally going through some of the shit Finn went through as a kid. Albeit without eldritch abominations threatening to end all life.
