Rayman has always had potential. Easily memorable character designs, cute fairy tale world that doesn't feel derivative, willing to play with edgy humor, Ahh the French, and those bunny things were the Minions exactly and came first. You could make Rayman awesome and successful if you wanted to, but all he gets are some okay video games once a decade. Nobody seems very inspired to work on him.
