Why didn’t the 2017 show didn’t do as good as the 2012 one I thought the show was okay. Could the reason be that there was a lack of humans due to it being in a new world or something. I am not too sure. Thoughts?

2012 one is better because Ms Thrornberry is a capitalist who got a whole street block to herself after this show.

Thank god they didn’t turn the 2017 series into cgi slop.

I watched sweet FA of pet shop short of nerd osmosis by way of clips and still from /mlp/ and /co/. I’d suspect that the answer is a mix of the 2012 show having pony as the standard to try and live up to plus hasbro would have been still genuinely ‘trying’ to make hub into a thing and so had some real effort to make LPS a good baby’s first character driven show.

By 2017 Hub is either dead or approaching that status imminently with every show being giant do-doo with past it’s prime pony reruns being the main original product of note.
