Sasha gets the character development and Anne gets bloodthirsty though for mildly diffrent reasons than S1 Sasha.

Sasha went apeshit because of her need for control. Anne would lash out because it'd be her first taste of power and the break up would be viewed by Anne as her "escaping" Sasha's thumb. Season 2 and 3 would be about Sasha realizing she was a shitty friend and want to apologize/fix the friendship.
