I'd say I'm surprised they didn't experiment and try one for Season 3 but then I remember in total they've only done 25 episodes which is less than what used to be a normal season let alone 3. So it still makes sense that they hadn't done one yet. Plus, they're still trying to figure the characters out, it doesn't seem like they're ready.It took Regular Show 44 eps for their first (Terror Tales) and Adventure Time 51 (Mortal Folly/Mortal Recoil as a 2-parter.) That said I could see Zach and Michael preferring to do a 2 part episode rather than a half-hour. I feel like they'd prefer to do something crazy/funny with a cliffhanger, whether it's their own wild idea/gag or a who killed mr burns (mr boss) sendup. Actually now that I think about it, it'd probably just be that, since dying and coming back to life happens in this series and Mr Boss owns land in Hell. He'd probably just be chilling watching them solve his murder while getting into disputes with Satan next door.But they already did a murder mystery.
With how much [as] is going all in on a multi-season renewal and even trying to do these half-measures for Smiling Friends merch but only at cons and inside a giant ball in brooklyn, I have no idea why season 2 hasn't gotten a bluray release yet.
