Do you ever borrow comics & cartoons from there? Do you have a library card?
I'm within walking distance so I don't really feel the need to check things out since I can read a lot in a single sitting Read some standalone trades and some books on animation
>>151633650pretty much only for some movies. more options and easier availability online.
>>151633650I have a library card, but haven't checked much out for a while. Especially when it comes to comics, where it's relatively common for stuff to go out of print and become effectively unavailable, I tend to want to own everything I read myself so there won't be any risk of not having access to something I liked in the future.
>>151633650I don't think my library has comics or even manga
>>151633650The Giant Days collection is stocked at my library, and when I checked them all out the old lady behind the counter said, "you must really like these".I do. They also occasionally put some old ones on sale. It's nice to snag a few comics for like $2.
>>151633886Don't forget to read the Batman crossover, too.

I've read some manga that I didn't feel like buying. Most of the DC/Marvel recent stuff doesn't look interesting, though I did read the Cassandra Cain trade.
I use libby and hoopla like a normal person, gramps
>>151633886These look cute
>>151633650I mainly just use mine for the printer, our library sucks.
I'm blessed to have a local library that puts a lot of effort into their graphic novel section. They get a decent percent of what Drawn and Quaterly and Fantagraphics puts out, which is right up my alley. That and random Junji Ito collections are enough to keep me busy.Picrel is what I have checked out rn. It's okay, perfect book to read and return. I seriously love my library!
>>151633886Looks gay.
>>151633650I used to work at mine two years ago, I was read Len Wein's Swamp Thing omnibus on my breaks.
