looking back I can agree that not liking horror/fear clashes a bit with exploring abandoned buildings for fun but its not aa big of an issue as you think it is. Urban exploring tends to raise the same fear response as horror movies, because if you get caught or stuck you are going to die or are going to jail. It's not the 90s anymore so most people just do houses now, but people used to wander through underground tunnels and caves n shit too. It's horrifying in the sense it's exhilarating, which is the same sensation you get from horror movies and horror games. Doing flips, swimming, skateboarding, snowboarding, bmx, also trigger the same sensations.
