Anne developed a phobia of the symbiote when it enabled her to kill thugs about to rape her, and couldn't cope with Eddie explaining that the symbiote couldn't make her do something she already wanted to. She let her own self guilt develop into agoraphobia, blaming the symbiote. When she gave birth to Dylan she worsened her paranoia because from her point of view it was an immaculate conception. There were no physical repercussions or even awareness of the sex taking place. And she killed herself when she saw Peter swinging past her window. Maybe Peter should take accountability.
