Champions are like a corporate activist group. They just do PR stunts and show up to rallies to sell t-shirts. They don't actually do any youth outreach or training programs.

If your kid has powers, I'd find them a personal tutor or something. There's like a dozen small-time heroes and powered folks per square mile in an average sized city. There's gotta be one with enough experience to tutor a kid how to not explode their own head with their powers.
