Is this worth reading? A bunch of cringe faggots who seem like they’d post on plebbit seem to hate it so I’m interested now.

Really anon?

Well it’s usually a good way to figure out if something is good or not

I didn't like it. BKV's dialogue gets grating fast.

meh

The characters get pretty shitty, but i like it for two main reasons: one, the many theories on how the virus started, and two, the ending, which is pretty good.

I don't understand that at all. Y The Last Man was written by one of them and seems to be right up their alley.

it has maybe one of the best first and last issues i've ever read, but desu i don't remember a lot of what happened in between

This was the first comic of BKV I’ve ever read and I really liked it some parts were stupid but overall I enjoyed it. Than I read more comics from BKV and found out how much of a pretentious hack he is, the parts I thought were stupid is so prevalent in his writing I’m pretty sure if I read Y now I’m gonna hate it.

"reddit" became such an incoherent buzzword for any poorly understood opinion the mindless poster incapable of nuance dislikes, that it's a useless barometer to judge media by

classic tale of
>neat concept
>fun and interesting first few chapters
>wastes it completely because lol lmao
never bothered finishing it

i dont know why you feel your opinion matters when you couldnt be bothered finishing the story but i understand where youre coming from, its a great idea that has no direction and just slowly fizzles out with such little effort it seems intentional.
>"the nice house on the lake"
is also one of those comics that some how manages to do the same thing with finesse

You're too infected by the culture wars to enjoy it but you probably would've liked it 15 years ago

NTA, but it's completely valid. You don't need to finish every single story to have an opinion about it.
In fact, you're a bit of a retard if you finish something that long without having liked most of it.

I like it. Art is a little boring, but totally in line with the story it's going for. Also, Israel is the bad guy in the story so it's nice seeing that, especially from something made in 2002

I stop reading when the Astronauts land.
How many issues left?
