I've heard more than a few spanish speaking anons praise the spanish dub of Aqua teen and even say that they prefer it to the original version. This frankly shocked me because Aqua teen's humor is so dependent on dialogue and delivery that I wouldn't expect it to work very well when translated. But I checked it out anyway and even though I'm not a Spanish speaker I'm impressed how well they matched the voices and the apparent faithfulness to the original dialogue. Are there any other exceptionally good cartoon dubs? Or shows dubbed into your native language that you like as much or more than the original?
>>151643381I know it had a Colombian dub for the film that is lost media, it's OK.T. /co/lombianhttps://youtu.be/ZBGuLKELv7U

>>151643381As someone who's seen it in English and Spanish, hell no. A lot of the jokes are lost in translation, and while most of the VAs are talented, they don't fit the characters very well. It's good enough to hear it just to see the differences, but I would not put any dub above the original version. For cases of that I'd go to KND, Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy and some old Adventure Time episodes
Drawn Together has a huge latam fanbase, apparently the taco dub is better than the original English version despite the latter having a decent VA lineup.
>>151643381I didn't watch Aqua Team Force but the dubs of The Simpsons, Invader Zim and Dexter are better than the originals
>>151643485>Invader Zimop here you just reminded me i had the anime works DVDs back in the day too and they included the spanish dubs on all the episodes, I remember watching them out of curiosity and being pretty impressed by how well they matched the voices in that too. and the narrator on the title screen>invasor...
